[#2736283]

Just upgraded my forks to some Fox F100 which have a rear post mount brake fitting.

I currently have a Hope Mono Mini with an IS fitting with a 160 disc.

I know that I need an adapter but there seems to be issues with getting the correct one.

Questions are

1) Do I have to upgrade to a bigger disc when using an adapter i.e. 180 instead of 160?

2) If I don't have to should I anyway (£25 is for the new disc) on top of the adapter cost.

Thanks

Phil

Giant do a post to IS adapter that keeps a 160mm disk.

Personally, I'd go up to 180mm - it's makes a big difference to braking control, ime.

Most post mount adapters are a +20mm so if your original was 160 then a 180 will do it.
