Are all crown races the same, is there any problem swapping a fork from one headset to another brand without changing the crown race? I am trying to get away with one fork and front wheel/brake for two bikes! It is a cane creek crown race in a FSA head set. It all the looks the same and seem to fit fine. Any reason not to ride it?

Not all races are the same, if they look the same just give them a measure and see if they really are or not.
If they are the same then your fine, if they are different then you run the risk of knackering the bearings, get dirt in there etc.
