So I have been offered some 38 Factory forks at a great price, the problem is they are the live valve model and my bike is not compatible. From what I can see the actual live valve cable housing is removed with two screws from behind the crown so no issues there but can the forks they be used as normal or can you only set them electronically?

What's happened to the bike with the live valve kit on it?

It belonged to a friend, frame cracked and was not covered under warranty so he is now selling the parts off the bike including the forks and I am tempted as he only was £350 for a set of 2022 38 Factory forks. I just need to know if they will work once 'disconnected'

I would guess it would default to the open mode without power. Question is, does it even have traditional adjusters for compression and rebound?
