We saw a disco ball in the middle of a field on yesterdays ride, wondered what it was as it glinted in the sun from a distance.

Random or what ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Not too unusual ๐Ÿ˜€ My local trails have a field of llama's next to the entrance.

Pfft - llamas are ten a penny - now your common or garden alpaca is the scarce beastie.

There's a ride I've done a couple of times down near Hythe, one section of which goes right alongside Port Lympne zoo. Last time I did it, there were a pair of what I think were lynxes in an enclosure right next to the trail. Freaky...

I thought it was because one of them seems to have 2 heads.
I like the bright greeny turquoise mica lakes round our way.

Random question - whats he legalities of taking a Llama on a bridle path? They're not horses, so presumably it's not allowed? Just curious...

Coastkid - Great pic. Now I know where they used to get the material for London Underground seat covers.

First time I saw an alpaca was in a field in Scotland, not far from John O'Groats, on last day of end2end. Did't have a clue what it was, thought I was going mad!

Answered my own question - taking a Llama/whatever on a bridleway is illegal (assuming you don't own the land)....

Alpacas seem very popular round this way, they almost outnumber the cattle at the north somerset show.
