Not everyone, obvz. There are a few neatly rounded humans that are quite likeable.. Some profess to be pillars of the community and all that 👍
However, after a few run-ins with some shady windsurfing importer/distributor types in that very vicinity Worthing does have a bit of a reputation for being full of barrow boys and promises unfulfilled 🥴🤣
Those that have been blocked by Sick! Why not start your own FB Group or Insta Group and fight back? No need to go down there fists 👊 in flight, just fight them with their own bullshite stories thrown back at them.. the stories and post histories would certainly make others considering a shopping bike frame for Hucking in the woods think twice before handing over Credits of your hard earned fundamentals.

Well, thats Sick F*d then & no less than they deserve to be honest.
They cannot pay - they have spent all the money - thats clear. ~Get those small claims in. Your frames are built and ready but sick cannot pay for them despite you paying sick. get those guys in court.#

INTERESTING that only Marino is claiming he was never paid, maybe there was an unseen issue that stopped them paying him.
Were those frames "pre-orders"? If so, Marino are selling frames that Sick customers have already paid for. Frames for which Sick have already got the cash.
No blame at all on Marino. They've got bills to pay. Sick have some serious work to do here if they are ever to regain any trust.

I have heard of 2 other suppliers that haven't been paid.
CFH, IIRC all sick frames are sold as preorders, save for dead stock from cancelled orders

So we have had the first hard tail frames built by Downland that were brazed together and did not look pretty (no fillet filing to save money)
We then had the ti and carbon full sus frame have-blue that was "always only a technical exercise" that when the copies appeared on the Chinese frame builder site the Sick boys announced on a live stream that it had had multiple failures at the bottom bracket and their single copy had been welded 3 times as it kept cracking and the Chinese copies should not be trusted.
Now we have a bunch of hard tail frames that are stuck in Peru as they haven't been fully paid for.
That is some track record.
Strong and Stable bikes from the Maybot? They sound ace, until the wheels fall off and tools fall out of the cabinet and dent the frame in the run up to delivery three years late...
While looking for Tom's comment on Facebook I stumbled across the sick bicycles owners club.
It has 9 members.... Does that mean 8 folk got their frames ? - 1 or the 9 is sick themselves.
This has all the hallmarks of a company desperately trying to dig themselves out a cashflow black hole.
The 2017 (Feb 2018) accounts showed they couldn't meet their obligations without funding from the directors. Since then the same guys have started a T-Shirt Ltd co in July 2018 and had a tattoo studio dissolved (April 2019).
So it looks like none of their other sources of income can support Sick! so they need to get some external funding. They can't make it right from here for existing customers by selling new things to new customers - thats the pyramid/ponzi model and we know where that ends.
If they can't meet their obligations and still taking money off creditors, then they are trading while insolvent. If thats proven then limited liability won't help the directors.
