There is not a plastic under-BB shell cable guide on my Roadrat, nor a hole to attach one. I'm going geared on mine so not sure how to fix one to the BB shell. The frame lugs appear to route the front mech cable under the down tube with the intention of routing it under the BB shell. Have people achieved this via an adhesive cable guide, or have they drilled a hole to rivet the cable guide to the BB shell?

When I converted mine to geared I superglued a Campagnolo cable guide underneath the BB shell. It held fast, no problems
