The rim is true, but the tyre wibble wobbles all over the shop.
Tried looking at how much of the bead was caught in rim and it seemed all uniform. All off and then on again, slow inflate, spin, wobble, tease around, still wobble......then chucked on old trailraker. Spin straight as a die.
Wobble culprits Mud-X. Any suggestions whilst I meander off down the pub to think about it?

Take it back to shop?
I had a Tioga tyre years ago like that.

My Mud X's wobble a tiny bit, I was wondering if it might be due to the folding nature? But then other folding tires don't so I don't really know.. 😕

I had some Hitchinson UST tyres that did that once; they were correctly seated so con only think it it was from the moulding process.

Find Mud X a b*gg*r to get bead seated in WTB Speedmaster rim. Drives me nuts, with slow inflation, 'manipulation', whacking it up to 80+psi, etc. - still egglike.
Never have problems with other foding tyres on the rim though.

This hasn't helped you much, but I feel a post-rant sense of relief . . .

I think I might have caused it by rubbing around the bead to remove a load of latex and I have slightly bunched it up. So I will be massaging around the bead to smooth out again and try the over inflate method.

On a positive note - the trailrakers were fab today.
