I was contemplating keeping my GP5000 s on for the rest of winter and maybe adding a tyre liner for additional tube protection?

Some interesting reading on the rolling resistance web site , not too many downfalls on some brands.

I do like the fast rolling GP5000 s and a plusher ride over the 4 Seasons.

But.... do they wear a hole in your tube over time ?

They are not flat and may form a ridge for  the tube around the full wheel di

Has anyone experience ?

Use winter road and audax use.

I do not like tubeless btw!

Its just an idea at this moment in time what do you lot think?    My puncture count is very very low , its an insurance policy for very cold /inclement weather.

I'd just go with wider GP5000s. What are you running? I have 23-30c and I too have had a low (currently zero) puncture count. I hate road tubeless. But I love GP5000s with latex tubes.

30mm is on the bike at the moment.

I may need to put 28mm on again if the crud starts catching in the mudguards, but so far no issue.

I have some 28mm in the shed.

Not actually had a puncture with Gp5000s  tyres yet, but I have only used them in summer a but reluctant to buy another set of tyres.

GP5000 have really good puncture resistance.  Mine have loads of surface cuts from glass but none have ever punctured them.  do they not have a kevlar belt anyway to prevent punctures?
