could not resist a set of stans arch ex wheels from superstar sale, and am thinking of setting them up tubeless on my commuter with schwalbe marathon supreme. Should I bother? It's pretty rare that I get punctures on my commuter, probably once a year on average, and I'm likely to let the fluid dry out. Anyone done it and are there any benefits? Am guessing that the ride quality will not be affected as I'll be running higher pressures ~60psi

I can't possible see a butyl innee tube can do anything ro resist a pressure of 70psi or infact any press ure over about 1 psi

Will feel very similar to your current setup when running at 40 PSI, if your happy running 40 PSI then they'll be fine.
@captaindanger Marathon Supremes are tubeless ready so will be fine up to their maximum recommended pressure, sorry didn't read post properly, thought we were talking standard Marathons.
Seems like I should give it a go. Ampthill their test rig looks a bit too ideal, though That does not explain the result.....
