Anyone ridden/owned a Transition Bottlerocket? I'm tempted by the full build option for a fun play bike. Mini Downhill come burly trail bike.
Anyone have any opinions on them. Any better options out there for the money - 2.5k

yeah doesn't say anything. trans / ition dont make sense.
does it ride any different to the last one? and can you run coil shocks on it?
the 2012 is meant to have a coil on it. the back end dont feel floppy like my others as its 12mm bolt through and 142 spaced.
I use mine as a trail bike, climbs surprisingly well for a heavy full sus and is so much fun once going downhill.

Jedi - How does the sizing come up on the BR. I'm on the cusp of Large at 6'3" tall.
Transition recommend a large for 6'2 upwards and a medium up to 6'2. How do you find the sizing on them?
im 5-9 and ride a medium
