Well i've just started a course that sees me in Gosport for 8 months mon to fri so its only right that i've brought the bike along.
Only problem is that i don't have any local knowledge or map reading skills lol!
I don't mind travelling a bit to get some decent riding in and am happy with anything from singletrack to full on downhilly type stuff.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

lordswood in southampton is good fun.
little marked trail at queen elizabeth country park at petersfield; up the A3.
downhill at rogate- also near peterfield; you need to be a member.
loads of nice XC & bridleways around winchester. and off of the southdowns way

Thats brilliant, thanks for that. Also just found a club in Fareham (wheelers) that does tues night rides so plenty to get me out and about.
