Hi
I have been riding for a year or so now and would like to find some new trails, i normaly go to mabie, newcastleton, whinnlatter, ae, kirrortree and dalbeatie. Anyone know of more in around 50miles from carlisle? Heard of drumlanrig, anyone been here?

Yes it's lovely - go.

Also there's loads of amazing natural stuff on your doorstep

What about the stuff between Pooley Bridge and Askham?
Drumlanrig is ace, but maybe not when wet?

Loads of stuff in the Lakes and you also have Whinatter or Grizdale TC's.
Also all 7 Stanes, Keilder, Hamsterey, Gisburn and Lee Quarry.
Will no doubt have missed some but there is loads to go at.
Natural stuff in the Lakes is great!

Get thee to Biketreks and ask for route advice. There is so much lovely riding in the Lakes for all abilities that you may just find your new favourite ride! ๐Ÿ˜€

rode drumlanrig yesterday - not fast, not flowing, but pretty technical - loads of off-camber roots and tight steep turns. good for a change from the normal boring trail centres. Rik in the bike shop has a wealth of knowledge and very friendly. call in and use the free bike wash (best i have ever seen) - as for any other rides.....explore the lakes - natural stuff if better. Howgills too
