I need to get back up to the Lakes, that's one of my favourites Rich!
The only pics I got from this evening's ride in the Peaks were on my phone, I uploaded them to Instagram.

Aha! I passed you up by Thornthwaite. Did a ride over Stony Cove Pike, up past Thornthwaite, and down the Park Fell descent into Troutbeck. Cracking day!!

It was fine - steep and grassy but not too wet - a great blast all the way down. Great line, lovely riding. Whereabouts did you press the ejector seat button then?

Solo ride doing the Glentress black trail today. Great day's biking, perfect weather but a little soggy on the ground in places!

Quite the slog up this hill, the picture doesn't do the gradient justice.

I roadied it today in Kent. Zesty had flat tyres and my legs said no to singlespeed.

It rained and I was throughly miserable. Plus some scummer threw a milkshake at me from a passing car. It missed, so at least that was something good!

Nice little ride this morning through Grizedale - bits and pieces of the North Face, Parkamoor and Grandad, Dad and the Dentist (with the last section ruined by a couple of horse riders). Did a run through the new black run.

Photo is taken from top of Parkamoor looking over Coniston.

Just a wee run out around Blawith Common for me today. Nice wee loop though which I can use for post-work rides now, although I am also planning to take the bike to work with me a couple of times a week when the work load permits to get some riding in different parts of the Lakes and Dales.
