MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
I've been looking into the options for trailer bikes. The beamlet is a few months away from 3 and is getting on well with her Islabikes Rothan.
Next step is the Islabikes CNOC, but how best to connect it my bike to tow it.
Seems pointless buying a trailer bike as its only a trailer bike and not one that can be riden independently.
If there were a way of towing the CNOC behind mine it would be significantly more flexible.
Any ideas?
Ta in advance.

On the touring thread someone had a great looking gadget for this

edit Didn't realise I was so slow.....
That trailgator looks good.
Any alternatives out there?
TJ - any idea what that bike towing thing is called?
I used a long piece of grey bathroom waste pipe and a toe-strap front and rear. Attach to seatpost of adult bike and head tube of child bike. You have towing and braking sorted (cut each end of pipe into 'cup' shape to ensure it locates properly).
Used it for years, didn't have any incidents, daughter made it to Uni!
I had to keep an eye on daughter trying to overtake but that was the only worry. No other worries, offroad or on.
There was more 'involvement' with the terrain and the child, they had to steer and balance and stuff.
No sbz - the pic is off the recent touring thread as above

Can't remember what it's called but it was reviewed in most recent CTC magazine - they said it was very good but pricey
Another happy trailgator user here. They're about £50. The one pictured above is a couple of hundred quid.
The one on the touring thread is a follow me tandem
Cheers all.
Trailgator it is then.
