any ideas for a cheap wide tough 700c tyre to screw screws into to make a pair of ice tyres.................cos i am not paying £40 each for proper un's
I'd been thinking rivets which might open it up a little.
I'd have said Schwalbe Snow Stud tyres at £28 each were close enough.
**** me you change frame every month but would rather spend a weekend screwing screws into tyres than spend £40?

I got some bonty 1.8 29er tyres from chevin that were pretty cheap and would prob work well
Try riding around dragging 3 sandbags behind you. If you don't like that, then buy the Schwalbes. They feel like you're only dragging half a sandbag 🙂
Theres some £30 ssnow tyres in clas ohlsen at the moment, presumably being sweedish thyere good, but cant confirm.
