Are they too hot? they look like a superb bit of kit and I do like Gore stuff just looking for some reviews.

No but I really like the look of them

If only I didn't have so much windstopper stuff already

Yep, have had one for a few years now and it's a brilliant piece of kit. I particularly like the mesh back. Windstopper at the front works well.

I always try to wear mine in preference to a jacket. Can't beat Gore for quality.

The function looks like it windstopper all round, I have an ACG gilet thats very similar. very good but too warm for the summer

I think its the Gore Countdown that has the mesh back - also a great bit of kit.

I've got the mesh-backed one (the countdown? not sure) and it's fantastic. The single most worn piece of cycling clothing I've ever owned.
