Went for a blast round the quantocks on a zesty 314 i've been lent for the weekend and i've got to say i was unimpressed.
Was expecting it to blow me away for some reason. Didn't climb as well as my superlight (probably cus it's heavier) but didn't feel a lot different on the downhills (compared to my superlgith with 100-130 u turns)
read all the reviews and maybe let it get to my head.
Nothing has beaten riding a scott spark 20 in the peaks last year. Now that bike blew me away (despite being an xc race bike it felt very confidence inspiring and was overtaking the big boys on the yeti 575's)

I had a similar experience with a Blur LT2. I didn't buy one.
