That looks amazing. You must have had a load of snow. How long were you out for? Any more pics? I suppose you were to busy to bother with the camera though. Rob

Are you sure you didn't walk through the wardrobe into Narnia?
I reckon the White Witch would have been along any minute!

Where did the Range Rover Driver think they were going?

my guess is they thought they were going around the bend? probably thought they could get away with it - being an off-roader

The power was still off when I got home, it must have been off for about 5 hours in total.

the big question is hows that lump of junk steel coming of the hedge, if the snow melts first it is going to roll on its side nice pic though

knottie8 - I think the snow on any bike is hard work, esp. where there are drifts. Both Dibbs and I were running skinnies on the back and wider tyres on the front...

It gets easier the steeper the downhill, where you can get up momentum.

I might be tempted out again tomorrow if the roads are a bit clearer

Excellent proper snow at last, we've only had a light covering here 2" max a bit more a few miles up the road though enough to scare the southerners.

This afternoon you could probably get a car up Cothelstone Hill as far as Paradise. Crowcombe Hill was already closed by Thursday afternoon.

Yeah, I cycled out from Taunton today but that took a while - I'd quite like to get a bit closer tomorrow...

Im thinking Blue Ball at Triscombe as an easy place to start from , unless Dibbs has a horror report of deep snow there ? That would leave Triscombe downhill as a finish ...

I drove to work up Crowcombe Hill this evening, it was a "little" bit slippery. I won't be going home that way in the morning 😐
