I was a bit worried that you were going to report that it was your famed saddle that had finally met it's end...

That looks to me like a fatbastard crashed into some rocks on it. ๐Ÿ˜›

Now get to the chemist and get some double strength pain killers so there's no wimping out on the ride tomorrow.

Even better if your shoulder's still hurting you can jump on the back of the tandem with me as you don't need any arm strength on the stoker seat. ๐Ÿ˜€

The Wrecktro Gods will be fine!

Stu, Mandi's just walked in... We're off to Tescos to get some pills! Stamos feet, I don't want to take pills, I like pain!

I really like that photo of SSP checking your wheel; that's what bikebuilding/wheelbuilding/fettling is all about.(At least for those who do it as a hobby, anyway.)

In downhill you can expect to go through a few wheels per annum. Best to have a spare set for when the other/new set is being built.

I'd personally rest your shoulder tomorrow. Damage can take a couple of days to show itself clearly TBH ๐Ÿ™‚

Well done Don, that's pretty impressive how you managed to crack the rim right at the valve hole!

Many comments from onlookers about "middle aged men on XC bikes should know better" per chance? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hope the shoulder heals ASAP mate.
