Started with cleaning the FS so i could swap rotors onto the race bike - did all that. Went to the lbs to get a singlespeed freewheel removed, than added the new one.

Lubed all the bikes.
Put cable rub stickers on the cx

Did a 1/2 opener for tomorrows race.

Then remebered my race Fork is buggered and i forgot to send it to be fixed 2 weeks ago. Do now i have to swap the forks. Did that.

But ive still got:
Convert SS to tubeless
Wait for serviced fork to return and put both on respective bikes
Put new tyres on the winter road wheels, swap wheels
Recable (seized) winter bike rear brake.
Tidy shed
Clean several bits for advertising on here

It never ends!

Lowers service on the Sweeps, swapped a stem, somehow dangled my front caliper into the pot with all the waste oil from the forks in it. ๐Ÿ˜ก

Changed front brake pads...

I split a bike down to sell the individual parts after no interest. 10 minutes after I'd finished I got a message from someone that wanted to buy the complete bike ๐Ÿ™„

2 teenage boys who ride MTB most days, older one with local club, coupled with my HT, FS, Gravel and road bikes......the list is never clear, but I spend a fair chunk of time in the warm integral garage most days keeping on top of it. New jockey wheels went on the Soul an hour ago.. The only bike that rarely needs anything is the track one, never even lubed the chain and its been used regularly for 3 years ๐Ÿ˜€

Get shoulder to finish healing up
Go get bike out for first time since June for a ride and discover it's not working
Write a list of jobs that have been caused by bike inactivity
Do jobs or something else instead
Probably fall over and twist my ankle or something
Wait for ankle to heal...
Repeat

Go in garage, look at 3 bikes, squeeze rear tyre on FS, roll eyes, go from garage back to house, sit down watch telly.

The end.

I'm with simondbarnes except I listen to CDs so no need to turn over.

Of course some smartarse is now going to come along with streaming or playlists or some such cleverness.

1. Tidy workshop
2. Sort/swap pedals on the SS.
3. Continue the strip/rebuild of the "well maintained" road bike I've just acquired. Pressure washing the shit out of a bike is not maintaining it.
4. Build up balance bike for little miss breadcrumb.

Tom, would like to think your list is not sorted by priority; suggest you reverse the order - and lose everything which is not bike related.
You should then have a list which reads 'plan wedding'.
Share that Mrs Tom-to-be and you will win squllions of brownie points which, with careful management, you can use over a few years, but not too many.
Best wishes for future nuptuals - what a lovely, old, quaint phrase; we all know what it means but what does it really mean?
I was going to comment that a squirt of lube always helps but, as a bike man, you know that ๐Ÿ˜€
