As above. My braked are pre bleeding edge port era and always struggle to detach the syringes without aire getting in before the bolt goes back in.
Any tips for this?
Unbolt the caliper and hold it with the bleed port upwards.
Must say I hate bleeding Sram brakes. Love the feel but the bleed process means I wont get them again.

Well with bleeding edge port they're pretty simple.
I bought the epic bleeding solutions kit for my guide re brakes and they were dead easy.
Follow instructions and the kit allows you to remove most of the air from the brake fluid so they are great.
Simple without bleeding edge. Make sure the levers are parallel to the ground, so undo them. I leave the caliper where it is.
Epic's instructions are spot on so just follow them. Really easy to do (instruction's freely available on their web site) - I use their kit.
