Thinking of buying a timbuk2 classic messenger bag for general cutting around and commuter duties. Dithering between the Med and Large. Is the large too big/awkward? It looks like it may be ungainly?

I have a medium and it's big enough for clothes, toiletries, tools and a laptop with a little bit left for stuffing small items in. I sometimes think it would be handy to have a large every now and then - the bags seem to work best when they're about 2/3rds full.
