me and 3 others are probably going to head to Tignes in the summer for approx 5 days. We are looking to stay in a hotel/apartment that is bike friendly as we will be taking our own bikes.
We went there last year and camped in Bourg St Maurice but this year fancy being in Tignes/Val D'isere
So, does anyone have any suggestions? Oh, and it will be near the end of July, we are looking at the cheaper end, no luxury here!!
This might not be of any help at all, but when we went a few years ago we stayed in the apartment building opposite La Grotte du Yeti, the name of which I can't quite recall (sorry). They're above a little shopping arcade with ski/bike shops.
It was definitely the cheaper end, but not too bad. Balcony for bikes, 2 bedrooms and 3 pull outs in the living room, kitchenette etc. Typical stuff really. Right next to the lifts too.....if they're running (we went early season and the lifts were closed 😥 )
