I've test fitted my Thule towball rack and it doesn't sit level. It sits tilted towards the van so the lights point upwards slightly. Is this correct or am I being a numpty? I can't see anything obviously wrong and it's nicely tight and secure on the ball.
Mine's in the garage at the moment and I'm not going out, but I think if you lift the locking lever then slacken the adjusting knob the rack will sit down more at the rear. Obviously check it's still tight enough when you close the locking lever.
Just need to resit the rack, it hasn’t sat properly on the tow bar, got this spot on with my last rack, my new one it’s taking some practice.
Had another try, nope still can't get it level. Popped it off and realised the ball isn't perfectly vertical, hence the rack not being horizontal. Doh!
