We've got Thule roof bars already. I need a bike rack to add to this. It won't get used a huge amount, holidays mainly. Halfords have got the Thule Freeride 532 at a decent price. The bike is a Cotic Jet if that makes a difference. Any reason not to? Thanks

Better pro version here with Volvo branding for not a lot more.

That's what I did. I tend to find volvo branded or ford direct parts often have offers on stuff like this.

Can usually get them off the ‘bay s/h for a lot less - we’ve got two 598s which I bought new, plus two 592s which I paid less for together than each of the 598s, and apart from the torque clicker there’s not much difference.

+1 for Volvo branded Thule 598, it's great.

I've also got the Volvo branded 598, I think it's worth paying that little bit extra over the 591

I have the Halfords Pro version of the Freeride 532. Had a set of four for about 15 years. Not had an issue with tube diameters but I'd suspect you'd have trouble with an ebike.

I've a pair of rarely used 598's in Paisley looking for a new home, £25 each if interested.

Went for the 532 because i could source them locally. Too small for a modern, long 29er. Doh.
