Never heard of it but if I had it would become dry mid June to late August unless we had a crap summer.

Dunno, I rode there once in August about 8 years ago.
Can't remember if it was dry or not but I vividly remember going OTB 200m from where we'd parked the car resulting in a few cracked ribs!

You must have dreamt that Simon ...as already said the place only exists in the mind of the imaginer ( a little bit of Zappa thrown in there ..)

As above, it's not real, although I had a 'dream' I rode there on new years day, dry dusty trails and didn't have to wash the bike afterwards. Defo a dream tho😉

Ride it occassionally. Yesterday it was dry enough. A few weeks ago I came home and didn't even clean the bike. Just avoid the moorland and maybe up the crag after a big wet. We live in the UK, accept it's gonna be wet at times (having moved back from Aus after 6 years 🤣😝)

For most of the year it’s wetter than atlantis and probably even more mythical.

As a guide if it's dry enough to get massive cracks in the local fields it will be dry in most of the places I do have memories of dust up there.

it differs all the time, last year we went between april, september and it was the driest in a long time. Did have a decent summer, was really dusty and good, the year before seemed to be wet all the time, very slippy. Couple of mates went up last saturday and it had chucked it down the day before and was really wet and slippy so more than likely wet at the moment.

If it's too dry the peat crumbles as you ride over it and you end up sinking through to the permafrost.

Pretty much dry yesterday although I'm not a local and I probably didn't find a load of the trails. Rode the area with ketchup, hp sauce and skullies gully.
