He's just walked past my desk. Twice. The real one. He's in a meeting room 15m from me.

What should I do?

(EDIT - Put this in the chat forum?)

Ask him if he is dressed like that because he is going to a fancy dress party?

Tell him he has made a mockery of dress down friday, and ruined it for everyone.

own him with bombers.

wee in his designer shoes.

He is looking thin. Dressed all in black.

We have dress down every day, he's quite neatly dressed compared to me. There's a big security guard with him (one of our on site ones).

Ask him if he's really gay or is it just an elaborate ruse to get women naked and to feel their lady bumps?

He's just been for a wander round the floor, trailed by 3 comms people, 3 people filming him and the security guard. Like the pied piper of curious fashion. He seems to be quite happy.

He walked right by my chair so I could have spun round and touched him...

...but I didn't.

He's back in the meeting room now.

I'm a coward when it comes to touching strange men.

He's just a bloke making a living at what he knows well.

Why all the weirdness?

What should I do?

think about what is missing in your own life that makes you want to post on a MTB forum that somebody who's notoriety is based on exploitation of insecure people has walked past your desk.

MrSmith:

Given some of the stuff posted here, I thought it would make an amusing distraction on a Friday morning.

If you wish to extrapolate from that, a more correct conclusion is that I'm distracting myself from reviewing a presentation from a start-up that gives an alternative proximity based identity solution to NFC.

It also gave me a chance to post a Half Man Half Biscuit lyric 🙂

You could ask him to join your Korfball team.
😀

Is he going to get mobbed at your office then?

Do not understand the thread title. 😕

There's some fairly basic homophobia going on in this thread too. 🙄

He`s a really nice bloke, Stayed in the same Hotel as him in Bath a few years back, My Ex and I had breakfast next to him and his partner and he was quite chatty and very pleasant.

It was quite uncomfortable with all these people stopping and staring though "Is that Gok Wan?" then coming up and fawning......poor bloke couldnt even have his breakfast in peace....
To His credit he was lovely to everyone that came up, I dont think I could handle being "public property" like that

Just be yourself, be normal and say hi, hes a really nice bloke 😉

Thread title is a lyric.

And yes, it's getting a bit homophobic. Not nice.

And to build on the nice bloke stuff - he's here filming stuff for a charity campaign he's supported for the past couple of years.

It's completely unacceptable and not what I've come to expect from STW. We should be seeing advanced homophobia by now.

There's nothing homophobic about Korfball.
It's a very inclusive sport.

Indeed, a mixed gender sport.

Leicester seems to be the hub of UK activity.

Definitely.

I literally don't think I have heard things along the lines of 'backs against the wall lads, there's a poofter about' since I was at school about 15 years ago. Maybe I lead a sheltered life.

why would you keep your back against a wall? are homosexuals more likely to rape you than a heterosexual? i wonder what the stats would say....

homophobia, the fear that a gay man will treat you the same way you treat a woman
(or something along those lines... stolen from a thread on here before xmas)
