Was hard and i hurt.
good adventure racing and stunning scenery when I remembered to look up.
The 800m of vertical ascent and boggy decent after about 100 miles was also a b1tch.
Several overpowering impulses to make like a bear and crap in the woods and a need for a tactical chunder about 70 miles in properly slowed things down and our target time of 12 hours ended up being closer to 14.
Started in the dark and rain in Nairn and ended up on a speed boat racing across Loch Levan at 830pm but still managed a sprint over the finish line.
a very big day out.
