I'm well jealous of you lot stuck in dark mode, I'm stuck in light mode (Firefox/Linux/Desktop) and my eyes hate it.
Logged out. Deleted cookies. Logged in. Nah. SEE THE LIGHT 😭
It's fine on my mobile, dark there, just mobile..

Is your pc set to show dark mode? If not, then you'll be seeing the site in light mode.

Edit followed media link . It said attach some numbers then attach. I ticked the box and pressed insert into post.
No joy.
Make sure the box is ticked as above and then click Add To Post. 
Image should appear in preview. Then hit Add Reply
Seems to work. Have to wait quite a long time for the Cancel button to change to a checkbox though.
<edit> Although clicking on the image takes me to a random selection of three images from elsewhere in the thread. And the image is a bit smaller than I would have expected.</edit>

Yes. Another website updates in real time as themes are switched, and has three settings auto, light, and dark, however it is also marked beta.
There are still some problems with this forum for which there appears to be little enthusiasm for fixing!
I’m still in dark mode on iPad and iPhone,
Picture posting for some users is still not possible,
The layout is still odd, is it stuck in mobile mode, picture (hopefully) below?, 
Personal details are still displayed on classified adverts. I tried deleting my paid for advert but no luck, if I was advertising something as expensive and desirable to thieves as, say, a VW camper van then I wouldn’t like my full name being displayed on the advert.
Arghhhhhh, wtf is the glaring white text/black background when you open a thread doing?, It was black background with teal/green text. iPad /latest software.

Responses have always been fairly quick but no one has replied to any of the concerns/problems/queries raised for weeks.
Yay! Dark mode is back and I didn’t even need to logout or delete cookies.
It appears to be "darker mode." Not that I'm complaining, I'm rather attached to my retinas. But I was already in dark mode and I can see the theme change.

I used to be able to see at a glance from the list of threads on the overview page, which I'd read up to date and which I hadn't, or were new threads. The font on the thread title was dark on unread threads or those with new posts and light on those I was up to date on. This no longer seems to be the case? I think there might be the very sublest of differences in the shade of blue but it's barely discernible to me, especially on a phone, where once it was obvious, Any reason for the change?
Also the number of threads on the overview page seems to have gone to 100? threads per page. This makes the font tiny and means a ridiculous amount of scrolling to get through it. If I zoom in to overcome the old eyes/small font issue, the scrolling issue becomes even worse. Especially as the navigation shortcuts at the bottom of the page were removed ages ago, without explanation, despite many requests to return them.
I have to confess I find the frequent tinkering with the forum appearance and navigation tiresome and unsettling, especially as there never seems to be any explanation for it and any reasonable requests for functionality improvements or glitch fixes just get ignored.
I know it's a chicken/egg situation as regards Mark's time and the funding of staff to deal with all this, but none of this helps make your case for attracting investors particularly compelling. It may seem unfair, but plenty are going to be thinking "if you can't deal with this basic stuff, or even communicate with us about it, what chance of bringing off ambitious growth plans you want my investment for"?
Scroll back over several pages on this thread and dozens of reasonable requests to fix things have been ignored for at least a couple of months. Even a one liner to say you are aware of the issues but don't have the time/resources to fix them right now would be better than complete radio silence and might allay the feeling you've just given up as far as forum functionality goes.

Something must have changed as it's gone from taking 30 seconds to load to taking about 3 seconds, much better.
why has the text in an opened thread changed to bright white when using dark mode rather then the green/blue on main forum page, seems kinda stupid as its very glaring?

How long do we have to put up with thread delay posting stuff ? I mean seriously now guys. It was promised that when the switch was made and we all paid money that once the migration was done that would be it.
I accept the speed has improved overall, but still time and time again I see threads that don't update for 30-45 mins after someone posts.
I can't seem to find the Dark Mode option, is it a subscriber-only perk?
It is based on your own system settings, so if your system is set for dark mode, it should show in dark mode. If it doesn't and you are, clearly your site cookies and log back in.

Just checked my profile to answer the question above, it seems that I have several unread DMs. I've had no notification of such either via email (unless they've been spam-blocked) or on the forum.
This setting should be under account/preferences, but all the prefs have vanished.

Came on here to say I have had no notifications of PMs, neither by Email nor by the bell icon/letter icon of old while surfing the forum. However, when I navigated to the classified section the bell icon turned red to indicate a message. Unfortunately I needed to have seen that reply 5 days ago!

Also when I try to reply to any messages the text box is filled in with very light grey almost white text on a white background so I can't see it.
Can't seem to change the colour of the text so I can see it? Any clues how to do it?
Dark, then light, then dark. Background has changed back and forth the last few days. Oh now dark again.

The forum was having an update earlier, not sure if that may have been why.
What's the bell in the bottom right for?
It is meant to signal you have a new message...I get an email to tell me I've a message and when I access the forum I see the bell - but tapping it does nothing.
I then go to my messages and the bell then changes to having a red dot in bottom right of the bell.
As I'm in messages I then click the new message, so unsure it helps when on the messages section.
