Can anyone tell me how the trails are running up there at the mo? I've never been but read they are unsurfaced so just wondering before commiting to a weekend away as I'm on the south coast so quite a journey to make if they're a shit fest.
Anyone?
Not been up in a few days but I am local.
It's going to be sub optimal that's for sure. Hopton trails have suffered with a very wet winter and they won't be dry. They'll probably still be muddy wet sloppy fun though. And plenty of other places to ride nearby. Not too far to degla if you want surfaced stuff to.
Thanks
Rode there last night on the Pearce cycles ride and the conditions were good considering the recent weather. All the surfaces were fast rolling and not really much standing water. We did cut out the open section though and the wet drag of a climb that follows it.
