Woohoo, 6 votes for trailquests.
the riding in a non competetive envioroment section is missing 🙂
Aren't they just an Audax marketed at MAMILs, rather than beardy wierdys?
And £20 cheaper, djg 🙂
(Our Audax is noticeable for the lack of beardy weardies)

How on earth did you manage to get everybody that turned up to the last one to vote?
I done a few Open5 races, does that count as TQ? 🙂
As above! Sportive = Audax with marketing and more crabon fribe than you can shake a powertap hub at!
You've forgotten of course that sportives usually have food provided and route markings.

Well............... go to the top of the class and sharpen the rubbers
so for my £15 I got all the drinking water I needed, 4 or five flapjacks, 2 sausage rolls, some bananas, a baked potato and chilli washed down with a big cup of tea
Hot showers and a changing room
No road race or TT option either.

Not quite.
Audax = self sufficient, real one with points start at 200 km
Sportive = supported tend to max out at around 200 odd km
