So then, who here is going? 1 week to go, I'm looking forward to it. Should be a nice friendly event with only 80 entries being sold. I'm going down to exmoor very early Fri morning with a couple of mates. Not ridden exmoor before, but an expecting steep climbs from looking at os maps!
Really good riding but couldn't justify the entry fee given i can ride there pretty much whenever I like.
I'm going - will be there as early as possible Friday morning.
Can locals tell me if a butcher rear will be a bit risky? They don't offer a great deal to help slow down and if it's steep, would it be wise to for a Purg instead?
Rather bloody good this! Extremely well looked after and some fantastic trails. 5 stages yesterday mostly through steep loamy woodland. 20 miles.
