As a result of a rubbish year to be self employed, the tax man decided to help me out a little this Christmas, and what a beautiful present he treated me to:

In thrown together, I need to ride it NOW guise:

Finally finished, double & bash, trimmed steerer, couldn't be bothered to do the drying up:

Unbelievably happy with it. Thanks Simon (sly69).

Funnily enough Mr Tax man has been kind to me this year....... Just did my tax return (self employed too) and it seems he owes me a fair chunk of cash aswell.

And it'll be going on pimping up my Heckler ๐Ÿ˜€

I am having trouble seeing this beautiful present of which you speak, is it behind the ugly bike?

Sorry, cheap gag, enjoy riding it! ๐Ÿ™‚

I think the beauty may refer to the bottles of Golden Hare by the bin (he paid for those too).

My tax return has just been done and he owes me a 4 figure sum too. Always a nice bonus but lord knows how long it'll take to actually get it.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but do tell me more. My company owns one bike and is considering buying another.

Do you plan to offset the full cost against tax in one go?

Cheers
