Currently run a single e13 guide ring on SLX crank arms...bought a Renthal one today (very nice) but when I came to fit it the bolts were too short as the renthal ring is thicker where the bolts go through, do chainring bolts come in different sizes and if so what size do I need? When I look there are no sizes stated so how do I know which to buy?

Just go back to said shop and get the correct size chairing bolts... Perhaps at the same time as when you take your forks to have the spacers taken out.... And the wheel trued!
