I have just taken delivery of an on-one pompetamine which has a shimano dynamo front hub. I've never used one of these before and so was hoping for some pointers on whether it is worth getting a light for it and if so what. The light will be more to be seen with rather than to see where I'm going.
Any input much appreciated as I'm completely new to this area.
I've a Pompetamine with dynamo - see this thread for details and a bit more discussion....

Thanks!
I put one of these Lumotec IQ lights on my Hub dynamoed Pompetamine. Great for seeing with and for being seen, I liked it so much I got another Hub Dynamo and the same light for my touring bike.

Cheap price (even with shipping) and great service from Bike-Discount as well
Jebus, that is cheap!!!! ๐ฏ
Yeah, I bought both of mine from there - both times they came within 3-4 days. Well recommended by me at least!
Oh, I should add, with my Pompetamine, I just drilled and tapped a 5mm hole in the front of the fork crown to bolt the light bracket into. Dead easy and works really well. Haven't bothered with a rear light running off the dynamo, but I might in future.

I went carbon - Kinesis DC19 - hole already there and the mudguard mounting is neater - IMHO, obv ๐
EDIT: Note the DC19 no longer listed - DC37 is equivalent, bu thas mudguards on the dropouts....
