Hi everyone
Bit of a longish question but here goes. To change my disks to hydraulics I need to change my shifters too as mine are combined currently. My other half has separates and has said she's happy to do a swap, would it be worth me swapping the derailleurs over as well to match. It would be me swapping Shimano Acera 8 speed mech and Shimano Altus EZ fire trigger shifters for SRAM X4 shifters and dérailleur?

You'll have to swap the rear derailleurs as shimano and SRAM don't play with each other.
