Hi,
I've got a cross threaded bottle boss that is now spinning in the frame (wasn't me - I bought it second hand like that). It looks like some sort of threaded insert that is fitted into the frame - I'm guessing some sort of rivet thing.
Anyone go any thoughts on how to get it out without knackering the frame?
And if I do get it out where can I get a new threaded insert?
Any suggestions welcome.

It's a rivnut, with the correct tool they can be tightened up, also check out onzadogs earlier post about rivnuts.
