The time has come to grasp the nettle and have another bash at this ride. After last years gale force winds coupled with rain of biblical proportions, it must be better the second time (I hope ๐Ÿ˜• ) Mind you it looks like you all got fairly wet in Calderdale but hopefully lowey can book the weather for us.
Same start as last year so bring plenty of tubes ๐Ÿ™„
Meet up at 9.45 for a 10.15 start - the car park is signed from the roundabout on the high street - post code for the town centre is CA17 4QS

I had a look up today so just in case the clouds are down this is what the view is like ๐Ÿ˜€

So boys and girls - who wants to come out and play?

The route covers Smardale Fell, Stennerskeugh, High Dolphinsty, Mallarstang, Birkett Common and back to Kirkby Stephen - its about 25 miles. The pace on these rides is easy so I expect it to take all day. Bring food as there is no chance to get anything on route.

Oh, I said I'd do the peak pootle but the thought of new trails....ummmmm, might have to ditch the peak...the exact thing happened last time I recall.

EDIT: Just had a look at the drive, anyone got space on their floot to doss to save me having to scream up morning of the ride?

I'll bring cake, promise (home made and all)

There is the one we used last time - but hopefully that would be way to soon!

Next one would be in the Mallerstang Valley after we drop from High Dolphinsty

Can't you get him some gears ๐Ÿ˜‰

Cracking ride as always, bit breezy in parts!
Cheers to everyone for their company, and DeeJay for organising.

And for those who are wondering how DeeJay comes up with the routes on his rides, this is the picture that inspires him:
