Me think the DB connection/sql sever keeps dropping and thus the forum comes to a halt?

STW needs a new server admin, not just a DB connection.....
For a site which might require maximum Forum uptime, due to advertising reasons (revenue stream), it does seem down an awful lot!

Excellent. Xiphon knows all the ins and outs of the problems. I've been wondering what they were for a while. Could you tell us exactly what's wrong then, please?
