Plenty of room Teeto.

I have however decided to tie flatfish and tollah together with a rope for the duration ๐Ÿ˜‰

Lol, I'll do my very best not to loose anyone although this time if anyone does get lost it won't be anything to do with me. I will however buy Flatfish a beer or at the very least assuming there are no pubs offer a go on my hipflask in form of an apology!

Get your grubby hands off my knob. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

At least if my knobs nailed to a table you'll know where to find me.

Good point flatfish, would you like to borrow my trailer for the table? I can fit a hammer and a few nails in my bag.

@still s8tannorm

Will this include a pub option?

Bin kit, put lights on, cycle to pub?

(yes, I am aware of the scareness of pubs near Nant y Moch ๐Ÿ™‚ )

I doubt it too. Nearest would be the Star (which you don't want to go to). Other than that it'd be back into Mach or the George Borrows ... but don't let that put you off ๐Ÿ˜‰

You gotta lay some entertainment on flatfish. If we can't do the nailing then I'll have to take the collection of gin traps I found ... set them, hide them in the grass and wait for someone to go for a slash or there's always your telly. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Don't know if i'm taking the plasma yet as i might slum it with the ground dwellers, might try and be a bit more social.
Gin traps sound fun.

.....so, back on topic then:

Which tyres for a wet/ rocky mid-Wales bivvy trip? ๐Ÿ˜†

And while we're at it, a quick straw poll:

What whisky do you have in your hipflask?

White wine for me, per-lease.
None of this tramp juice for me.

I shall only think about tyres once I've decided which bike to ride ๐Ÿ˜‰

Copious amounts of tea will be my choice of refreshment ... but not in a hipflask.

It's looking more and more unlikely that I'll be there, despite my nice new tarp and paracord. Bah humbug!!

I've a limited edition, 40 year old bottle of whiskey ... which I won't be bringing. Instead I'll be carrying some of Lidls finest tea bags.

Still having a mess around with a route, don't expect anything too taxing. SS should be fine but I think I'll be using a selection of gears ... but I could easily change my mind yet ๐Ÿ˜‰

Bivvy spot remains the same ... just how we get there might alter.

Hammocks will be fine ๐Ÿ˜€

Centre of Machynlleth - Stuart suggested the former Celtica car park. So into Mach on the A489 to the T junction by the clock/monument thingy. Turn left and it is on your left after about 100m. IIRC correctly there is a leisure centre or swimming pool there as well.

Why do I not trust the smiley emoticon stu? Have the trees been chopped down now? Or something equally sinister.
