I've just bought a Bolt and also have Strava Premium.
I only have Strava Premium for the Beacon.
However, unless I'm missing something, I can't connect the two together. Therefore I start my Bolt recording and also Strava on my phone (to set the Beacon going). Then when I'm finished I auto upload to Strava from the Bolt and must delete the file that tTrava recorded on my phone.
Is there an easier way? What do you guys do?
TBH I've never used Beacon (it's not the reason I'm premium on Strava) however when I'm away on long solo rides I use this and have it set to send the link to my wife. Same idea really.

the live link from the elemnt does work well, but I've found it does train the phone battery quite a lot (down to about 40% after a 5 hour ride)
I've never used Beacon as my wife and I have iPhones and share location using Find Friends. Does your phone have something similar, surely there's a free option if that's the only reason you use Strava Premium?
Yes - we both have iPhones - not used the find my friends thing...worried she'll realise I call in for a pint every night tho!
