[Closed] Stolen Oxford: Home made steel mtb, grey paint, hugely sentimental!

My fiend's bike has just been stolen from the towpath in Oxford city centre. He had left it unlocked for 10 minutes outside another friends house boat assuming it would be safe, obviously he was wrong.

He made the frame when he was 18 and it has a huge amount of sentimental value to him. It's grey with red grips and now has a brown saddle (not pictured). Revelation forks, XTR chainset (1x10), reverb post, shiny Sun Ringle wheelset.

If anyone in the area could keep their eyes peeled it'd be amazing, it's a pretty distinctive bike. Rewards include his eternal love and a pair of bombers with which to own the thief.

I'll keep my eyes open around Didcot.

The words "Oxford", "Bike" and "Thought it would be safe" should never be used in the same sentence.

I do live within close proximity to Oxford so I'll keep an eye on the local buy/sell pages and local eBay ads etc.

Yeah I think he was being ambitious but he only went into the boat because it was raining, was chatting through the window to start with. Apparently there was no one about but there you go.

Cheers for looking out guys!
