Hiya everyone, I'm James, a student in Sheffield.
I had my bike nicked from outside Sheffield University today, it's a 06 or 07 model of the Giant Yukon.
Done in daylight between 9am and 5pm today from the bike parking area just down from the Arts Tower on Western Bank.
Not much distinctive on it, it's got a pump on it, little black bell, one of the valves is slightly bent with no valve cap, the other has a cracked valve cap which has worn through at the end.
Oh, it's got a sticker next to the stem, on the frame, saying Topmark with barrow in furness as the address, where I purchased it.
It's this colour...
Highly unlikely I'll see it again, bit annoying as I saved up for it out of my wages when I was 15 and paid for it myself. Going to have to get up in time to walk to university now too haha!
If anyone happens to hear anything about one for sale that could be it please let me know. I can't afford another, uni has make me completely skint, and non of our insurances cover it.
Trying to get the CCTV footage and it's gone through the police and university.

Cheers mate. And I don't unfortunately. I even had to get a picture up online to describe it properly to the university security.
It's not used loads, just when I'm late for lectures, going climbing or for the odd ride in the summer. It's always just been there and I've never taken much notice.
Just so glad I decided against servicing it and getting the gears/chain repaired last week, would have pretty much ruined me and resulted in a call home begging for money!
I'm heading over and working around Sheffiled today, I'll also keep a look out for you.
