Looking for a fattish front tubeless front tyre for the current climate (wet & muddy) to take the sting out of the rigid front end.

And a skinny grippy tyre for the back.

I'm running a chunky monkey on my rigid 29er, made a big difference.

Nothing too heavy - trying to keep the weight of my Inbred to a minimum.

22lb at the moment.

Kenda's 2.5 folding nevegal DTC works well- it's not exactly light, but it's the lightest genuine 2.5 I've seen. Not easy to find, though (the stick-e is quite a bit heavier). Works a charm in the front of my soda- deknobbed it to make it work in mud, mind, as standard it clogs.

This may be the only time I ever recommend a Nobby Nic, but the 2.4 is alright. Obviously not a good mud tyre, but it does shed better at low pressure. Unfortunately rather easy to pinchflat even with tubeless. So not perfect but alright.
