I have a set of Rockshock forks, recently they have become stiff and have lost 50% of their travel, I am not sure which model they are but they are spring not air, are adjustable from 110 - 130mm and are about a year old, the seals are not leaking, they are not worn but have not been serviced, I am reluctant to spend over £100.00 sending them to be serviced if there is an easy fix

Back away from the GT85 😉
It sounds like the usual RS fork problem of oil leaking from the upper motion control damper to the lowers. Happened on two of my RS forks, Pike and Revelations. Easy to fix if you're happy to strip down your forks and plenty of info online. Contact LocoTuning for the 2 o-rings you'll need.
