Does anyone know what (if anything) is different about the lever for the stealth-a-majig connector.
It says stealth-a-magij only. Why can't I use a normal barb/olive
Do you mean Connector-majig? It has a special press fit connection for the caliper. The lever is the same olive and barb, well it is on my one.
It's not supposed to be. The lever recess is a new shape internally. The stealthamajig olive and barb are a new design.
Brakes come pre assembled and bled, but disconnected. You should get an olive and barb with the brake, along with a red tool that threads the olive on but not the tiny torx key to thread the barb in.
Thanks for the replies.
I had some comms with someone from the SRAM University site on FB.
I'll add it here so the information is available for anyone to search as I struggled to find much.
The Stealth-a-majic only lever, has a new design, and is not backwards compatable with the old olive/barb which if used will not open the flow path.
He also said the compression nut MUST be torqued to 8 Nm, and undertorquing could cause the flow path to close during use i.e. the lever would lock.
Need to find somewhere online who sells the stealth-a-majig olive and barb now
