I have finally gone tubeless (Big hurrah).
I didn't drill my rims, but the tyres inflated fine. Is there any risk/danger associated with not drilling the rims or will everything be OK? The rim strip pushes up much closer against the bead lock near the valve. This won't make the tyre more prone to falling off will it?
Thanks!
Didn't drill the rims on my DH bike when I went tubeless 3 years ago. It's been fine since.
Never bothered to drill before, don't worry.
Thanks! I read someone saying their valve fell out ๐ but I guess this could happen if you are overzealous when tightening the valve collar too.
is it a stan's rim? definitely don't drill, if you ever want to run yellow tape and a valve instead of a rim strip thing then hole will be too big
