Are these any good?
Can't find any proper info on the net with a quick search.
I asked for a wheel to be built with DT swiss comp and have been offered these instead (tbh, they look plain gauge too).

Do you/they mean DT Alpines? They're triple butted, thicker at the end, then more like a Competition, they're heavier, I'd stick with Competitions personally.

No, the brand name is alpina, I've never heard of them before, wondered if anyone could shed some light.

Aah, they're made by ACI, used by Merlin et al in their wheel builds as a cheaper DT alternative. Sure they'll be perfectly good, although I'd still stick with Competitions if it's an option.
