[Closed] ST4 front mech troubles with SLX double & bash

Can I use a 'triple' front mech when using a SLX double & bash cranks?

Been having a faff trying to make it work today, I've got low and high clamp XT mechs and struggled to get either to work without catching.

I started with the low clamp mech but it seems that it cant go low enough on the seat tube without catching the pivot so tried with the high clamp mech and that seems to be catching in granny and 1st and cant adjust out.

Will have another go tomorrow but any hints would be great or do I need to get the specific double mech?

Using a 2.5mm spacer on drive side of bb.
