As above, I want more choice of gearing and I'm running 9 speed XO, I want a matching 2 speed front shifter and mech but I'm not sure they've made them. Anyone know?

No. As in no, they didn't do 2x9; only 3x9, 2x10 and 3x10.

just use a normal X0 and just click it once - what I do and others no doubt,
there is not a 2x version for 9 speed but I assume the ten speed would work

but you can just set up a LH shifter and front mech to only cover 2 rings. I did this to run Middleburn Duo with 9 speed block, and works fine

EDIT - Just like he said 🙂

Wouldn't a 2x10 front mech work?

probably but why spend the money when you can just set the existing mech to only cover the range required in the fist click and then the shifter wont be able to make the second.

yes you dont need anything specific just restrict the movement of your current front mech

Ahh, okay. I just wasn't certain, I was debating buying a 10 speed but I HATE mismatched parts so I'll try and find a 3 speed and set it to only move 2 rings.
